The former Formula 1 owner failed to disclose the trust as it was officially announced in July 2015 and has admitted his wrongdoings after initially pleading “not guilty”.
Appearing in front of the Southwark Crown Court on Tuesday Ecclestone changed his plea in front of the judge, completely jeopardizing his case.
The 92-year-old was due to go on trial next month, but with the most recent changes his fate has taken a huge U-turn.
