George was infuriated by the news and was quick to react as he called out the journalist,
“Shams Charania, the leader of spreading false news and attacking players. Why any player in the league talks to this guy blows my mind,” wrote George on Wednesday night.
Memphis were eliminated by Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of playoffs and that sparkled plenty of rumours, concerning Brook’s future.
The 27-year old is set to be a free agent after the postseason finishes and it is still uncertain where will he play. He infamously made comments about LeBron James, which tarnished his status and drew the attention of the media.
Brooks has spent 6 years with Memphis and there is a high chance his time is up.
