The coach had previously been reprimanded by Chicago’s HR for his behavior, and 2nd such episode led to his dismissal.
David (53) is the 2nd assistant coach in the team to leave the staff this campaign. Ex-defensive coordinator Alan Williams resigned at the end of September, sharing that the reason for his decision was to take care of himself and his family.
The organization’s HR department also was involved in the decision that led to Williams’ resignation, but that has nothing to do with the dismissal of Walker.
Chicago Bears manager Matt Eberflus will speak with the media today, and it is expected that he will confirm the news about his assistant’s firing.
