Indianapolis Colts rookie QB Anthony Richardson suffered a concussion and missed most of his franchise’s 31-20 victory against the Houston Texans.
Anthony hit the back of his head on the field at the beginning of the 1st quarter on a 15-yard TD run. Richardson remained in the match for 2 more possessions of his organization – during which he didn’t suffer any hits – but after that, he went to the medical tent, and after that, he was advised to head to the locker room for further tests.
Here’s the moment where it is believed Anthony Richardson became concussed.
End of his 2nd TD, his head indeed snaps back and hits the turf rather hard. Shoutout the AT spotters for catching this as soon as they did. pic.twitter.com/SUwLGKfw9Z

Indianapolis went 3-and-out on both possessions after their QB was hit on the TD run, but it’s still not officially announced if the hit caused the concussion. The rookie quarterback was officially ruled out late in the 1st half as Gardner Minshew took his place as he threw for 171 yards and a touchdown during his time on the field.
