It marked the 6th 60-point match of the season, 3rd most in any National Basketball Association campaign (1961-62 had 17 and 1962-63 had 9).
“It’s very unpleasant not to have something to show for it,” Curry admitted after Golden State, 12th in the West, fell to a 21-25 record.
Warriors manager Steve Kerr described Steph’s match as “phenomenal.”
