Ex-Red Devils player David De Gea is open to inking with Newcastle United as a backup for Nick Pope.
Nick sustained a dislocated shoulder during the 2nd half of his side’s 1-0 victory against Manchester United.
Pope could miss up to 5 months with the problem that he sustained, and the Spaniard is ready to ink with the Premier League side from St James’ Park, where he would be able to play in the absence of the English goalkeeper.

David is still without a team since leaving the team from Old Trafford at the end of the past campaign after his deal expired and the Red Devils decided not to offer him a new one.
De Gea was part of Manchester United for 12 seasons as he appeared in 545 matches during that period and took home the team’s Player of the Year award 4 times at Old Trafford.
