Novak Djokovic spoke ahead of Wimbledon, the 3rd Grand Slam event of the year, as he is the top favorite to triumph before the beginning of the tournament. He shared that he is motivated no matter who his opponents are. “I don’t need Carlos Alcaraz or any other tennis player to find inspiration.”
Djokovic also added that despite everything he has achieved so far in his career, he doesn’t feel it is enough and is hungry to lift more titles. Nole claimed that as long as he has that desire, he can be the best version of himself on the court and beat anyone. Nole also told the journalists that if this hunger disappears, he might retire.
In the upcoming Big Slam, the Serbian shared that he has no preferred opponents and everything depends on himself on the net.
