High-ranking officials in the Premier League have been required to submit emails, WhatsApp messages, and SMS texts that mention Manchester City in preparation for the upcoming hearing on the 115 charges against the club.
The English champions are set to appear before an independent commission in November, following accusations from the league that they concealed payments through third parties by disguising them as sponsorship income. Manchester City denies any wrongdoing.
Among those asked to provide communications are Premier League Chief Executive Richard Masters and his predecessor Richard Scudamore. Employees have been instructed to disclose all relevant data pertaining to Manchester City dating back to 2009.

This move intensifies the ongoing tension between Manchester City and the Premier League. Just last week, Manchester City initiated a separate legal action against the Premier League, further escalating the conflict between the two entities.
