Erik Ten Hag was full of praise for his players after a successful campaign, which saw Manchester United return to the Champions League.
However, he was quick to remind the press that the club is not where it is designated to be and that is fighting for the title.
The Dutchman was adamant that without further investments for next season the Red Devils will not be able to keep up at the top.
According to reports, Ten Hag is preparing a big summer clear-out, which would see most the isolated and unused players leave the club. That will help the Old Trafford team further invest in new signings without breaching the FFP regulations.
Manchester United defeated Fulham 2-1 in their last game of the Premier League campaign and have notched 75 points for 3rd in the table. They have one game remaining-an all-important FA Cup final against bitter rivals and red-hot favorites Manchester City.
