Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll has been given an official warning by the FIA over the Canadian’s behavior during last week’s Qatar Grand Prix.
The FIA’s investigation, which began earlier this week, was sparked by what happened between Stroll and his physiotherapist in Friday’s qualifying at Lusail. Тhe Canadian was eliminated at the end of the first part, after which cameras caught him pushing Henry Howe in the garage of the British team. It happened when Stroll’s physio tried to take him to the FIA garage for the mandatory weigh-in at the end of qualifying.
Although Stroll did not actually break any FIA rules, he was investigated for his indecent behavior. The FIA confirmed that the Canadian had apologized for what happened, but was given a formal warning reminding him to abide by the FIA’s codes of conduct.
