Kevin had passed away after a short illness.

Kevin Campbell has died aged 54, his ex-team the Gunners announced the sad news today.

Kevin spent his career in major clubs like Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, and Everton, netting 148 goals in 542 club matches across an almost 20-year career among the best.

After retiring from football in 2007, Kevin had a successful media career in a number of famous media companies.

Campbell started his career with Arsenal, where he made his debut in May 1988, going on to triumph with the 1st Division trophy (1990-91), FA Cup and League Cup (1992-93), and the European Cup Winners’ Cup (1993-94) with the Gunners.

The striker netted 60 goals in 224 matches for George Graham’s Arsenal team before signing with Forest in the summer of 1995, while he also spent the 1998-99 campaign at Trabzonspor.

However, he played for a short period of time in Turkey as the Toffees bring him back to the EPL on loan to help them avoid relegation as he did and Everton signed him in the summer on a permanent transfer.
