They were released though still with under investigation for hate crime

The four individuals, who were arrested for hanging Vinicius effigy off a highway bridged, were released by the police on Thursday though they still have a lingering investigation for hate crime over them.

The four men have been prohibited to communicate in any shape or form to the footballer and have also received a restraining order to approach the Bernabeu within 1-killometer. They are not allow to attend any Spanish League game and will have to keep the same distance from any stadium during the hours of the matches.

The incident occurred on January 26 before a derby game between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.

However, the police took action only after last weekend in a latest incident connected with Vinicius, when the Brazilian was subjected to racial abuse by Valencia supporters at Mestalla Stadium.
