The pilot will remain at the team “beyond 2025” but further details of the deal remain confidential.
It is still unknown who Pierre’s teammate will be next season after Esteban Ocon revealed he would leave the team at the end of the campaign.
The Renault-owned team didn’t start well and have lost a number of senior personnel in the past year.
Bruno Famin is team principal, but it was revealed a week ago that ex-team boss Flavio Briatore would join as an executive advisor.
“This is the place where I feel at home in Formula 1,” Gasly claimed. “I’m privileged to being a real part of both the F1 project and the wider Alpine Cars vision.”
Pierre added that he has been with the team officially for over a year and half and he always planned to stay here in a long-term and now that happened with the new deal.
