The New York quarterback will miss up to 10 months.

NY Giants QB Daniel Jones underwent successful surgery to repair the ACL in his right knee today and will need to rehab for almost a year before being able to play again.

The surgery was done in the Big Apple, and the earliest estimation for him to be able to be on the field again is 8 months. That would mean that the quarterback could participate in the summer training camp before the beginning of the new NFL campaign.

“My entire focus is on day-to-day on what I should do here and get alright,” the QB, who sustained the problem on November 5th vs. the Las Vegas Raiders, shared in the “Up and Adams Show” today.

“I have been waiting for this procedure and then recovering from this surgery in the next few months. How that works out is not up to me, and there are very limited options that I can focus on. I will do everything that’s up to me to be ready to play football as soon as possible.”
