Thousands of Golden Knights fans flocked the streets to celebrate the team’s historic achievement of winning the Stanley Cup.
The team organized a special parade in front of their home stadium to mark their first NHL Championship.
The motorcade route proceeded from an area near Flamingo Road about 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) to Tropicana Avenue before a fan rally at Toshiba Plaza and the Park District in front of T-Mobile Arena.
Las Vegas police reported they are preparing for 100,000 people turning up, which some compared to New Year’s Eve, which in Vegas gathers around 400,000 people.
There was a brief moment when people started climbing up the fences, but the parade remained pretty much peaceful and uneventful.
