Goodell’s contract was part of the talks between the owners, but nothing is yet official.
“It’s not extended today, I can assure you,” the commissioner answered when asked what he thinks about the new contract.
Roger also said that he loves what he does and has no hesitation that his extended deal will soon be completed.
The Indianapolis owner added that it’s not yet inked, but virtually everything is agreed.
“He’s done so much for the NFL with strength. … It’s an easy job, but he’s working very hard for the National Football League and its prosperity.”
