Guardiola revealed the situation will be monitored day by day
Manchester City’s top scorer Erling Hааland has a heel injury, team manager Josep Guardiola has revealed. For this reason, the striker was not included in the squad for game with Luton.
At this stage, it is not clear when he will be able to return on the pitch.
“Erling felt pain after the match against Aston Villa and is currently unable to play. I don’t know how long he will be out – we will watch week by week, day by day… We will see what happens,” Pep said ahead of the meeting with Luton on Sunday afternoon.
City have four more games to play before the end of the month, the latest being against Red Star in the Champions League on Wednesday.
