The Los Angeles Chargers and QB Justin Herbert have agreed on a 5-campaign, almost 263 million dollar deal extension.
The contract comes 1 day before the organization starts its training camp, and the quarterback will have a deal with the Bolts through the 2029 campaign. The contract includes a no-trade clause, almost 134 million dollars guaranteed, and almost 200 million dollars in injury guarantees.

Chargers shared the five-year extension for its QB but did not share more specifics.
Justin is the 3rd QB this season to sign an incredible extension after the Philadelphia Eagles. Jalen Hurts agreed on a 5-year, 255 million dollar extension, and the Baltimore Ravens and Lamar Jackson inked a 5-year, 260 million dollar extension.
Herbert became the highest-paid QB in the league’s history based on his yearly salary – almost 53 million dollars. The next blockbuster deal can be between the Bengals and Burrow.
