UConn men’s basketball boss Dan Hurley shared with the media that LA Lakers made a “compelling case” and offered a “compelling vision” for him to become the organization’s next manager, but that is honored what he has achieved at 2-time defending national champs UConn – and thinks to decide where to continue his career soon.

Dan claimed that he has only positive things to say about Los Angeles general manager Rob Pelinka and owner Jeanie Buss and had been thinking today about the incredible, long-term deal to coach in the NBA.
The head coach traveled to LA 3 days ago, met with the franchise at the end of the week and returned home on the next day.
Dan has been top-priority for the Lakers since the head coaching vacancy after the end of the season for them, as the only other candidate with 2 in-person interviews in LA was Pelicans assistant James Borrego.
