Anthony, the 4th overall selection at the 2023 NFL Draft, will compete with Gardner Minshew for the QB1 position. Still, manager Shane Steichen shared that doesn’t mean that Richardson is his choice to start for the franchise when the NFL begins in September.
The NFL organization want to learn more about the rookie quarterback, and the best way to do that is on the field.
“I want just to see where he’s at,” the Colts boss shared today. “Get him on the field — he’s been doing a fine job. Let’s get him out there with his teammates and see how he performs.”
The head coach added that his starters will play a maximum of 15 minutes each against the Bills.
