The NFL franchise today suspended receiver Isaiah McKenzie and cornerback Tony Brown for 3 matches for “conduct detrimental to the organization,” which means that neither of them would play anymore until the end of the regular campaign.

The Colts did not provide any information on what led to the suspension, but sources shared with the media that the nature of the violations rose to a level where the severe ban was recommended.
Suspensions by individual National Football League franchises are rare—the NFL hands down most bans.
The wide receiver and the cornerback were healthy and inactive during the past weekend’s Indianapolis victory against Pittsburgh. McKenzie and Brown are reserves but had crucial minutes on the field during the campaign.
McKenzie appeared in all 13 matches before the game against the Steelers, while Brown played in 12 matches during this campaign.
