Despite their 108-101 win the Heat had a moment to worry when their star player Jimmy Butler sank to the floor clinching his ankle in agony.
Although Butler did continue the game he was in visible pain and concerns have clouded his fitness.
When asked how he felt after the game, the 33-year old responded:
“Like a rolled ankle”.
The extent and seriousness of Butler’s injury is still unknown and Miami head-coach Erik Spoelstra also didn’t have anything to elaborate on. It is unclear whether he would take part in Game 2 or not.
“You just don’t know with ankle sprains,” Spoelstra said. “I don’t even know if we’ll know more about it tomorrow.”
Despite the injury Butler finished the game with 25 points and 11 rebounds and he will be hoping to be fit for Game 2, which starts on Tuesday night.
