Juventus set to leave Super League project after turbulent year

Juventus are no longer interested in the Super League project, reports say.

Since the fallout of the project back in October 2021, the Old Lady has been one of the main supporters of the plan, along with Barcelona and Real Madrid.

However, things have changed as the Italian team is now planning to step aside.

The club released a statement, where they say they will continue with further discussions due to their obligations from the previous talks.

It is believed the Old Lady is relying on UEFA’s mercy to clear out their name after a turbulent year, filled with legal actions against them.

The team was docked first 15 points, which were overturned, and later another 10, which ultimately cost the team a place in the Champions League. Juventus finished 7th and will not even participate in the Europa League.
