Kelly Oubre Jr. is set to miss a significant amount of time after severe injuries were located after the 27-year-old was hit by a vehicle.

Oubre was immediately taken to hospital in a stable condition and was subsequently released a couple of hours later. The team doctor said that he will not miss the remainder of the season, but will be absent for a long period of time.
The Philladelphia Police that Oubre was struck at about 7 p.m. while crossing the street at Broad and Locust streets in Center City, and that he was taken to Jefferson Hospital.
There is currently an ongoing investigation into the incident.
Oubre is in his first season with the 76ers and has averaged 16.8 points in the first eight games. He was the 15th overall pick of the 2015 draft and has played with four other teams.
