The horse was shown encouraging signs in the training after the triumph in the 149th Kentucky Derby and is now ready to get in the Triple Crown’s 2nd jewel at Pimlico in Baltimore.
“The horse had an excellent week of practicing,” Restrepo claimed with co-owner Chamberlin, co-creator and racing chief of partner CMNWLTH.
“Instructor Gustavo Delgado was satisfied and over the moon about how Mage returned. He displayed all the productive signs. So, it’s on to Preakness and crab cakes, and we will win.”
