Golden State Warriors manager Steve Kerr wanted his organization to re-inked Draymond Green during the off-season. So the 4th time champion manager was happy with the franchise for signing Draymond to a 4-year, 100 million-dollar contract.
“We’re very happy to have Green back,” Steve shared Friday while speaking to the media about Team USA, which he will manage in the FIBA World Cup in August. “Draymond’s been such a huge part of this phenomenal team that won the titles, and, as he showed this last campaign, he is still an elite player.”
After LA Lakers eliminated Golden State in the 2nd round of the Western Conference playoffs, the head coach claimed that the franchise must sign Draymond as he became an unrestricted free agent.
“If Green is not back, we’re not a title contender,” the Warriors manager shared in May.
