The Reds head coach, Jürgen Klopp, has admitted that, while he doesn’t support the Super League project, he enjoyed that Europe’s top court had given UEFA “a bit of a shake” when it ruled that the governing body has a monopoly position in its control of European football.

The European Court of Justice ruled that new football tournaments requiring FIFA’s and UEFA’s approval are “unlawful.”
After the court decision was announced, many European teams published on social media that they were against creating a new Super League, as they like the European tournaments the way they are now – Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League.
However, while Klopp supported Liverpool’s statement that they are against the Super League, the German manager admitted that he is also happy with the court decision, which shows that FIFA and UEFA can’t just do what they want.
