Kyrgios pulls out of Halle with another injury

Nick Kyrgios announced he will not participate in the ATP 500 tournament in Halle, which is preparatory for “Wimbledon”, because of a knee injury.

This decision comes just a week after he was eliminated in the first round of the tournament in Stuttgart, where he played a game for the first time since October 2022.

“I tried everything to be fit for Halle the last few days, but I have to give it up,” said the 28-year-old Australian. “When I play, I want it to be at the same pace that I reached the semi-finals last year, but that’s not possible,” he explained.
