Lamar Jackson has spoken out about his contract with the Baltimore Ravens

The former MVP quarterback responded to a report, concerning one of the offers he received.

He wrote on Twitter: “People throw (poop emoji) at the wall and hope it stick.”

The comment comes as a response to a report from NFL Network Insider Mike Garafalo, that the mentioned $133m are part of a larger deal, which includes five-year extension, meaning there are no other guaranteed years on top.

The rumour is Jackson wants a similiar contract to the one Deshaun Watson received last year from the Cleveland Brown. The QB was given a 5-year contract, wroth$230m.

If this is true, then Jackson would face a lot of difficulties in securing a place at the team, even though his reactions points to his intentions not to change the course of the contract.

If he wishes to negotiate with other teams, he could do so only when the league kicks off on Wednesday.
