Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was the fastest in Monaco second practice, beating Lewis Hamilton in Friday.
The Monaco driver was fast throughout both sessions on Friday and got 0.188 seconds advantage of Hamilton.
Fernando Alonso with Aston Martin was third, 0.475secs off the pace, while Red Bull’s Max Verstappen was fourth, visibly unhappy with his pace.
The world champion complained his car was “bouncing like a kangaroo” and finished 0.535secs behind Lelclerc.
McLaren’s Lando Norris, who almost stole the win from Verstappen in Imola last weekend was fifth fastest, 0.675secs off the pace, with Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz sixth.
Lance Stroll with the second Aston Martin was seventh, ahead of Red Bull’s Sergio Perez, Williams’ Alex Albon and the Mercedes of George Russell.
