Lewis Dunk has been handed a two-game ban by the Premier League FA for lashing out at referee Anthony Taylor during his team 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest.

Dunk initially received a yellow card for questioning Taylor’s decision to reward Forest a penalty, but moments later the defender was dismissed after saying something to the match official.
Sources indicate that the 32-year-old must have said something ‘offensive, insulting or abusive language’, which is later punished by a two-match ban.
Dunk becomes the first player in the Premier League to be dismissed for that offence since Alan Smith in 2008.
It means, the Brighton’s captain will miss their trip to Chelsea on December 3 and the home game against Brentford 3 days later.
