Lionel Messi displayed a rare moment of frustration after Inter Miami’s MLS draw with Charlotte. Following the final whistle, Messi confronted referee Rami Tuchan, demanding an explanation for not calling a foul in his favor late in the match.

During the heated exchange, Messi reportedly called the referee a “son of a b***” and a “brat” multiple times. Despite the outburst, Tuchan only issued Messi a yellow card.

Earlier in the match, Messi had scored for Inter Miami in the 67th minute, helping his team come back from a goal down. However, his frustration may have been heightened by a controversial decision involving a penalty for Miami.

Referee Tuchan initially awarded a penalty for a foul by Charlotte’s Adilson Malanda on Miami’s Diego Gomez but later overturned it after a VAR review, further contributing to Messi’s visible anger.
