Klopp’s team remains in talks with the Seagulls over a potential transfer of Moises Caicedo if the transfer to Chelsea collapse.
The sides have discussed a transfer’s financial terms and payment structure, as Liverpool is ready to spend the highest amount of money in 1 transfer window in its history.
Brighton want 127 million dollars for Moises, and nothing less will satisfy them.

The Merseysiders entered the race for Caicedo after Chelsea failed to reach an agreement with Brighton at the beginning of the summer transfer window. The Blues bid 3 times for the midfielder as the latest offer was for 101 million dollars, but the Seagulls rejected it immediately last month.
The Reds know how much money will secure them Caicedo, but they are unwilling to pay the amount that Hove & Albion demand if the midfielder shows that he wants to join Pool; Jurgen Klopp’s side is willing to get as close as the asking price from Brighton and try to sign him.
