Speaking with journalists at Canadiens’ rookie camp, the prospect – who the franchise’s VP Jeff Gorton shared is expected to be cleared by the commissioner – shared that his full attention is on the ice.
“I can’t share details about what happened, but I did meet with the NHL, and it seemed that I will have good news soon,” Mailloux shared. “I’d like not to speak about that too much, but I’m hoping to have a result from that soon.
“Right now, my attention is heading to Buffalo with rookie camp and then returning here and having a great minicamp.”
Logan notched 25 goals and earned 53 points in 59 matches in the past campaign with the OHL’s London Knights. Mailloux scored 8 goals and had 24 points in 21 postseason matches.
