Sir Jim Ratcliffe will officially take charge of Manchester United early next week, according to the Daily Mail.
The British billionaire will buy 25% of the shares of the Glazer family, which are of category “B”, which provides ten times greater rights in voting on important decisions for the club. In addition, however, Ratcliffe will acquire 25% of the shares of category “A”, which are listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
The owner of Ineos will pay £1.25 billion, and in addition will inject added £245 million into the club’s modernization of Old Trafford and the Carrington base.

Ratcliffe’s entry will coincide with a period that is shaping up to be key for Erik ten Haag’s team. The Red Devils play Chelsea, Bournemouth, Bayern Munich and Liverpool in the next two weeks and in impulse in the team is much needed.
