Manchester United have set a $51 million price tag on winger Jadon Sancho, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund after a fallout with manager Erik ten Hag. Sancho, 24, played a pivotal role in helping Dortmund reach the Champions League final, where they narrowly lost to Real Madrid.
Despite speculation that Sancho’s future at Old Trafford might depend on Ten Hag’s continued tenure, it has been confirmed that United will seek to sell the England international this summer, irrespective of the managerial situation.
United are firm on securing a straight sale to comply with Financial Fair Play (FFP) restrictions and to bolster their transfer budget.

Dortmund are interested in retaining Sancho but prefer another loan deal, while United are focused on a permanent transfer. Sancho joined United from Dortmund for $92,7 million in July 2021 and has two years remaining on his contract. There has also been interest from other European clubs, with Juventus among the potential suitors.
