The Red Devils were set to make the decision before the beginning of the new campaign, but it has since been delayed.
Criminal charges against the player were dropped in February, as the club from Old Trafford began their own investigation, which they had already concluded.
Manchester United shared that they gathered evidence, spoke to numerous people during the probe, and gathered everything they needed to make a decision about Greenwood, as that will happen soon.
The last time that Mason Greenwood played for the Red Devils was over a year and a half ago on January 22nd, 2022 when Man. United defeated West Ham 1-0.
Once made, the decision will be shared with the media and explained to the Red Devils’ internal and external stakeholders.
