Merged XFL-USFL named United Football League

The merged XFL-USFL spring football league received a name – UFL — the United Football League, from the league announced today.

The XFL / USFL merged league will be the UFL (United Football League).

Ex-XFL chief Russ Brandon will hold the same title for the UFL, and ex-USFL president of football operations Daryl Johnston will take care of the new league’s football operations.

More information about the newly created league will be announced in due course, as the most important things the fans are waiting to learn are the number of organizations and the cities that will have teams. The thing that we know for sure at the moment is that the season will begin on March 30^th as they will feature the reigning champions of the XFL-USFL – Arlington Renegades and Birmingham Stallions.

The main people in the new football league will be 5: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Dany Garcia, Gerry Cardinale, Eric Shanks, and Jimmy Pitaro.
