Messi buys 35 golden phones for Argentina World Cup team

Argentina superstar Lionel Messi made a great gesture to the whole 2022 World Cup squad. PSG forward lifted the trophy in Lusail and wanted to express his gratitude to the whole team.

He bought his teammates and entire coaching staff 35 personalized gold phones. According to Daily Mail he spent over 175 000 pounds for the luxury iPhones.

Each member of the world cup team received a phone, featuring their name and number. On the 24-carat gold coating on the iPhones is engraved the Argentina national team emblem with the updated three stars and the words “World Champions 2022”.
