Meyers Leonard, who joined Milwaukee Bucks earlier this year in a 10-day contract, has reportedly agreed to stay with the club for the rest of the campaign after his contract expired.
He has made 5 appearances for the Bucks this season, averaging 6.8 minutes, 2.8 points and 2.0 rebounds.
Leonard was infamously suspended for the 2021-2022 season after being accused of using antisemitic slur, while live streaming a video game. He later apologised and described the incident as “the biggest mistake in his life”.
Shortly after he was transfered to the Thunder. Oklohama City released him afterwards and the 31-year old remained without a club, before joining the Bucks on a 10-day deal back in February.
Leonard has previously played for Portland and Miami, before being signed by Trail Blazers. There he spent 7 years and 2 with the Heat afterwords.
