Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges has been banned from entering Canada due to his prior legal issues, and as a result, he will be unavailable to participate in Monday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors, according to a source familiar with the situation who spoke with The Associated Press.
It is revealed that Bridges was denied entry at the border. Hornets coach Steve Clifford refrained from providing specific details on Bridges’ absence when addressing reporters before the game.
“The only thing I’m going to say is neither Miles nor rookie center Nathan Mensah from Ghana will be here with us tonight,” stated Clifford. “That’s all I’m going to say.”
Bridges is currently serving three years of probation following a no-contest plea in June 2022 related to a domestic violence case involving the mother of his two children.
