Britain’s Andy Murray has not yet decided if he will play at Wimbledon, his Davis Cup teammate Leon Smith has revealed.
Most sports sites reported that Andy would miss Wimbledon after having procedure on a spinal cyst yesterday.
The Britain tennis player was forced to retire from his 2nd-round game at Queen’s on Wednesday after experiencing what he labels as a “loss of strength, coordination and control” in his right leg.
The ATP Tour announced on social media that Andy will miss Wimbledon but these messages were later deleted.
BBC shared that he is yet to make a decision after receiving conflicting advice – something his David Cup captain confirmed.
“Murray obviously went through a surgery less than 24 hours ago and you have to wait and see now,” Leon, the head of men’s tennis at the Lawn Tennis Association, shared on TV.
Wimbledon starts July 1st and ends on July 14th.
