NBA coaches compliment Rick Adelman with a lifetime trophy

Rick Adelman was honored with a lifetime achievement award during the NBA Finals and giving his influence is the best time for him to receive it.

He will be the 18^th receiver of the Chuck Daly Lifetime Achievement Award that the NBA head coaches association gives. It was given before the 2^nd match between the Denver Nuggets and the Miami Heat for the championship.

“To be included with the other trophy holders is special,” Rick shared with the media. “Chuck was a phenomenal coach and admired by all those who coached against his franchises. To be honored like this, I have to thank all those who were with me during my career; this award is also theirs.”
