Bayern Munich goalkeepers Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich have extended their deals with the club until June 2025.
“It’s great to watch them work together every day. They support and motivate each other and exemplify the values that characterize Bayern. Sven replaced Manuel more than adequately when he was injured and we know we can count on him. Neuer has shown that he has lost none of his skills. We are very happy that they will continue to play for Bayern because they are not only colleagues but also friends,” said CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen.
“I am happy to stay at Bayern Munich for another year. After my long injury I am back on the pitch. I really enjoyed last season with the team. I am convinced that together with the fans we can achieve our big goals in the coming years as well, and that, of course, includes the 2025 Champions League final in Munich. Knowing that Sven continues by my side makes things even better,” Manuel Neuer shared after his extension.

Sven Ulreich added: “When I came to Bayern from Stuttgart in 2015, I didn’t think I would stay this long. I have now extended my contract until 2025 and I will continue to play my part to achieve our goals. I can’t wait to continue working with Manuel. We don’t just share a passion for football, we are friends.”
