Nevada Senate passes the bill for the venue.
The Nevada Senate agreed on a 380 million dollar bill to assist in funding a new stadium for the Athletics in Las Vegas, the crucial step for the franchise to relocate to the state from Oakland.
The Senate discussed for a few days if it is appropriate to use tax players’ money to help a franchise owned by a billionaire build its venue in Las Vegas. With 13 in favor and 8 against the bill, it passed.

After that, Las Vegas is very close to having an MLB franchise after the Vegas Golden Knights in the National Hockey League and Las Vegas Raiders in the National Football League.
