The veteran goaltender hasn’t played a single match with New Jersey since the beginning of the new campaign.
The franchise was 1 of 5 teams with 3 goalies on their 23-man roster.
Kinkaid was in his 2nd period with the New Jersey organization, having been part of the Devils between 2012-19. The goaltender from New York has appeared in 169 matches in his career in the National Hockey League (143 from the 1st minute on the ice). Besides New Jersey, he played for Montreal, NY Rangers, Boston, and Colorado.
Keith became part of the league after the Devils inked him as an undrafted free agent before the beginning of the 2011-12 campaign.
