The linebacker will not be available for the Chiefs
Nick Bolton has undergone a surgery on his fractured wrist in Los Angeles.
The Chiefs’ coach Andy Reid shared on Wednesday that he is not sure whether Bolton will be on the injured reserve or the timetable of his recovery.
Reid said that no metal was needed to get put inside the wrist, which is likely to fasten the recovery.
“That was a positive going forward with him,” Reid said. “We just have to kind of check and see going forward.”
Bolton has established himself as on of the most prominent linebackers as he made 180 tackles with two sacks, along with two interceptions last season. So his absence will certainly be felt at Kansas City.
