Pep Guardiola has insisted that there is no real similarities between the charges Manchester City is being investigated for and the allegations, which led to a 10-point deduction for Everton.
Guardiola has pleaded detractors to show patience in the Citizens case as criticism is being drawn for the time being taken as the Toffees received the penalty much quicker.
“I’ll answer when I have the sentence – you’ve questioned me like we’ve been punished,” Guardiola said.
“At the moment we’re innocent. I know the people want it. I know, I feel it. I will wait. Wait and see it and after the sentence has been done we will come here and explain it.”
