The celebrations will be held on Thursday as the Nuggets made history
The Denver Nuggets will gather to celebrate their first NBA title with a team’s parade in the streets of downtown Denver.
Thousands of fans will flock the streets to see their heroes, who delivered the historic Larry O’Brien Trophy after a long 47-years-wait.
The Nuggets had an impressive run in the playoffs capping a 16-4 record, the tied second-best, trailing only to Golden State, who went 16-1 in 2007.
Their star player Nikola Jokic had a historic postseason record of 600 points, 269 rebounds and 190 assists. He was also honored with the Finals MVP.
Denver will see a festive parade for the second successive summer after the Colorado Avalanche clinched the Stanley Cup last year.
