The NY Jets are trading WR Mecole Hardman back to the Kansas City Chiefs in an exchange that features a swap of 2025 late-round draft selections.
The franchise from the Big Apple will get a 2025 6th-round selection in exchange for a 2025 7th-round pick.
New York inked the wide receiver to a 1-year, 4 million dollar deal during the offseason, but he has been part of only 28 offensive snaps for the organization and has only 1 reception.

The wide receiver recently spoke to ESPN and admitted that he doesn’t understand why he doesn’t play more for the Jets.
“I’m probably at the top in NFL in space,” Hardman claimed. “However, New York coaches see something different.”
The shining of “Hard Knocks” star Xavier Gipson as a kick returner and as a receiver made the managing staff of the Jets to trade Mecole as the rookie Xavier became the 4th WR.
